Lovely Sunday roast, which is the only choice on Sunday lunchtime.

Nice village pub, but use the Lounge if you want food and the Bar if you are happy with a richer vocabulary. New management, large car park and clean and tidy everywhere.

Went out with the Mrs and two friends. Had shared nachos for two which was enough for all four of us really. Wasn't just crumbs like someone else said, far from it. Ample serving of everything, very tasty indeed. Rump steak medium rare for main. It was cooked to perfection and medium rare which was an added bonus. Plenty of drinks. Two steak and ale pies for Mrs and friend. Cooked again to perfection. Rump steak also for her partner and he liked it. Plenty of drinks and reasonable priced. Even got free drinks as the manager said that she didn't clear our plates quick enough. Too be fair on that we all left some food as it was alot to consume and we couldn't manage it all. So to give us free drinks is really kind. Very friendly welcoming staff. Lovely locals and a nice experience and evening. Will come again. Thanks Cornwood Inn
