My daughter (3 years old) has been going to the ivy town nursery since September and she absolutely loves it..... we cant fault little orchards in anyway they have really helped our daughter with her slight speech delay and are continuing to help her in every way they can to prepare her for school next year.The best part about little orchards nursery is they are montessori which means that my daughter Alexis can learn at her own rate rather then what is expected of her at her age and they work in a child-centred way so its all done around my child. Alexis just loves going to nursery everyday they do so many things together, going out on walks, learning to cook, going on trips to visit a care home, going to visit the local fire station and of course going to the park (best bit according to Alexis)I cannot express my thanks to them in the way they have been helping Alexis, not only in education but in socialising and helping bring her speech/ communication on in leaps and bounds!
My daughter has attended this nursery for nearly 12 months and has received fantastic care and attention, the staff update me daily through an app where I can see what my daughter has eaten that day and what activities she has taken part in including photos. The location is perfect as set in the centre of Ivybridge town so the children often get the chance to go on nature walks and visit the local residential homes, fire station and shops. The Chef sends through a weekly meal planner so you can see whats on the menu for the week.
A great nursery, the staff are kind, caring, trustworthy and generally care about the childrens well-being! The have helped my child to develop her confidence and also speech. Highly recommend
I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff are so friendly and are always on hand for any questions I may have. My son loves going to nursery and is always talking about how much fun he has had with his friends during the day. The meals he has are of a very high quality and very nutritious, lots of vegetables and fruit. There are alway so many fun activities for him to be involved in and I do enjoy reading all the posts on the Family app.
I couldnt be happier with Ivy Town nursery. Both my girls love spending time here. The staff and managers are absolutely fantastic and I always feel at ease knowing my girls are in very safe hands. They both love eating Mikes freshly cooked meals and have lots of fun exploring new things. I have found the whole Montessori ethos works really well, in letting my girls follow what interests them and learn at their own pace. Theyve both gained confidence in themselves and made some really lovely friends. I also love hearing and seeing what my girls have been up to through the Famly app, which is great for being kept informed and is so easy to use. Thank you!
