Very nice food, great atmosphere and choice of drinks. Friendly staff too.
Lovely food but not asked how our meal was or thankyou for our custom upon paying. Indeed we were left sat for a while with finished plates with no approach for dessert or any other drinks etc or table cleared. Locals made to feel more welcome than we were unfortunately or maybe we had an off day. Shame as good food.
Give this a miss! Awful food with the curry sauce tasting as if it had come out of a can. Really disappointing I'm afraid and won't be visiting again.The venue has contacted me and is very disappointed by my review. They claim that their curry nights are a great success so perhaps we were just unlucky? In fairness i did not mention the very good service we were given from the delightful young man who took our order - he went out of his way to look after us.
We had a wonderful weekend at the Modbury inn. We had the family room and it fitted all 4 of us in comfortably. Clean , tidy and freindly. Cant wait to stay there again .
